Looks like sheer white skirts and dresses are definitely a hot trend for summer with Rihanna and Ashley Tisdale sported them out and about!

Ashley Tisdale wore her sheer white dress to the Butterfly ball a few weeks back and the star looked amazing in the trend! She did it a little more dressy—keeping the look really formal.

The dress fit the star perfectly and showed off her tiny figure—plus the sheer overlay hitting the ground gave the look a little added elegance!

And Rihanna sported her sheer white skirt hanging out in St. Tropez and went a little more casual with it. Rihanna's bottom layer was super short, while the overlay hit right over her knees!

She paired it with a bathing suit top, a body chain and a bright red lip for a really beach look that we're obsessed with and now that the trend is confirmed here are a few pieces that you can wear to get the look!
