Selena may not have been nominated at this year's Oscars, but she definitely deserves a trophy of some sort for this Emilio Pucci gold-embroidered, attention grabbing look. She kept the accessories simple and went for a sleek all-down hair style with a deep side part, and she definitely caught the eye of one famous gentleman -- check out these photos of the legendary Bill Murray posing it up with her on the carpet -- priceless.

UP next is one of Selena's oldest and dearest friends, Taylor Swift. The singer and soon-to-be star of a film with Meryl Streep was a total glamazon in a Julien Macdonald creation. The head-to-toe black embellished look featured a black mesh back and partially black mesh sleeves. Her new short do was simple and sleek and she finished off the look with her signature pop of red on the lips.

Moving on to American's favorite sweetheart...Jennifer Lawrence. Jenn switched it up for the Vanity Fair party, changing from her full-length red gown into a short party dress by Tom Ford, that (similar to Taylor Swift's dress) had a fully black mesh back and mesh side panels -- very sexy AND long sleeves. What we really love about this look thought is the incredible detailing as far as the embellishments on the dress -- they almost look like pieces of a mirror. Jenn made the right choice in keeping her accessories very minimal (just simple earrings) -- because a dress like this doesn't need much else. A great youthful, fun look that shows she was showing up to have a good time.
