Ingredients:
300 gms Chicken, boneless
2 Onions, grated
7-8 tbsp Grated Coconut
1 tbsp Coriander Seeds
2 inch Cinnamon
8-10 Black Pepper
4-5 Cloves
1 tbsp Cashews
10-12 Shankeshwari Red Chillies
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
1 tbsp Mix Masala
Salt to taste
1 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Oil
Coriander Leaves
Method:
For Marination
- In a mixer grinder add coconut, coriander seeds, cinnamon, black pepper,cloves, cashews & shakeshwari red chillies.
- Grind everything to a coarse paste.
- Marinate the chicken with this masala along with ginger garlic paste, salt and mix masala.
For Gravy
- In a pan heat some oil. Add grated onion and coriander leaves. Cover the pan with a lid and let the onion cook for few minutes.
- Then add the marinated chicken and mix everything well.
- Add some water and let the chicken cook for 15 minutes.
- When your chicken is cooked, add the tadka of butter & shankeshwari red chillies.
- Garnish it with coriander leaves.
- Enjoy the spicy Kolhapuri Chicken Masala with Roti / Chapati / Naan.
