Thousands of Indians, including children, lined up in Hyderabad to receive an unusual cure for breathing problems - swallowing a live fish. The mouth of the small fish is covered in a yellow 'medicine' and then swallowed whole by the participant. Due to the fish's bad smell, participants are assisted by others who hold their mouth and pinch their nose as the ‘patient’ swallows the living aquatic creature and forces the squirming fish down their throats.
