Check out my YouTube video for the full description, but the short:
The times reported are off by .19s and .27s (in order), however the average time of 3.5s is correct. I am now able to easily achieve 3 arrows at full draw, with a proper thumb lock/draw, unmodified nocks/arrows, in 3 seconds or less.
I developed my technique on my own, without aid, but with lots of inspiration. I'll say my technique is new, and undocumented in any text, old or new, as the 2 most authoritative texts on "speed archery" do not describe what I do.
My technique is similar to others, however differs in subtle, yet very important ways, such as; I do not grip the shaft with my bow hand while nocking the arrow, I do not articulate many movements to actually nock the arrow on the string, I use a proper thumb release/lock, I use a full draw (except when noted in this video), I do not stare/look at the arrow when nocking it on the string, and I do not use any modified setups (nocks, arrows, etc...) to do what I do.
All of my equipment is considered standard, and easily bought by anyone.
I made this video to teach people how to handle the bow and arrow more proficiently than anyone I've seen, without gimmicks or specific stunt setups. Now you wont have to awkwardly stare down your string and arrow to get ready for your shot, and using the bow and arrow will be less awkward and cumbersome, thus more enjoyable (and safe!) for everyone.
