The story is of a businessman who loses his child, Viki, when he falls in the sea, during a fishing trip. A poor fisherman, Shambhu, who finds a child and brings up the child as his own son. The son Viki become Rajoo and got all the love and affection of a dear father from Shambhu who, unfortunately, had no issue of his own. The time rolled on and Rajoo grew into a handsome youth who fells in love with Bijli residing in the nearby city.
