A baby during its growth stage in infancy is still growing pretty rapidly everyday. However, since the infant is still so young and little, the immune system of a baby is not as developed as an adult immune system. This can cause the baby to get a fever at the same time as having teething signs and symptoms which can already stress the baby body.

So teething does not cause fever, but keep your baby rested and the fever should pass in a few days.
