FARC guerrillas have warned President Juan Manuel Santos that peace talks will not move ahead if bloodshed continues. The statement came after the Colombian Army killed FARC commander Roman Ruiz in a bombing raid in the northwest part of the country on Tuesday. Shortly beforehand, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia had suspended their unilateral ceasefire after government forces killed dozens of their fighters. The most recent strike came just hours after the resumption of peace talks in Havana, whereFARC negotiator Felix Antonio Muños announced that one of the guerrillas killed last week was Hiram Martinez, a member of the FARC-EP peace delegation. teleSUR
