In recent days, members of the Cleveland Indians baseball team have been turning up with shaved heads or buzz cuts.
Though it’s been suspected that they’re shedding their locks as a show of support for a teammate Mike Aviles and his daughter, who has leukemia, it’s now been confirmed.
Said Jason Kipnis, "Unfortunately, she's going to be losing her hair soon from chemotherapy and we all wanted to join in."
Initially only a couple of team members did away with their hair, but many have since joined them.
