Every night, "Karina" leaves the office around 7:00PM and drives from Sucat, Parañaque to her home in San Pedro, Laguna. She was always on the main road and always felt safe. Until the night of February 9, 2001.

On her way home, Karina discovered she had a flat tire. A man offered to help her. Little did she know that this was part of a modus operandi.
