BOXBOY! comes with all-caps and a bang. The presentation of its name certainly comes as a bit more lively than the presentation of its game, which stick to basic shapes, monochrome, and a mute protagonist with a mute supporting cast. But despite being "programmable on a TI calculator" simple in terms of design, the actual game here is the best kind of video game jazz: a simple concept like spawning boxes, taken from one extreme riff to another in 22 worlds of puzzles.
