An endangered clouded leopard living at the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma, Washington has given birth to four healthy and adorable cubs.
The birth is rare as the species itself is scarce, but it also involved an unusually large number of offspring.
Previous litters from the same leopard mother were comprised of only 1 and 2 babies.
All 4 from the most recent birth are being bottle fed by zoo personnel.
This is typical of clouded leopard young born in captivity, as it’s the rearing method shown to have the highest degree of success.
The zoo will soon be announcing the little ones’ names and when people will be able ooh and aah over them in person.
