Singer Shekhar Ravjiani of Vishal-Shekhar duo will be making his acting debut as Neerja Bhanot’s lover in upcoming film ‘Neerja’.
Yes…if sources are to be believed, Shekhar will play a man of late twenties with whom Sonam’s character, Neerja falls in love with.

As Neerja’s life goes, she had troubled marriage post which she becomes an airhostess and then she falls in love with a man. Shekhar’s character gets to play that man. Hmm…does that sound interesting?

Well, Sonam plays the role of PanAm airhostess Neerja Bhanot, who faced an early death at the age of 23 while saving passengers from terrorists. The life of this braveheart will be made into a film that’s helmed by Ram Madhvani.
