If you’ve been hit by a fastball, you understand just how much it hurts. You clench, growl and then pretend like it’s all okay because there are ladies at the ballpark. But one Arizona State player did the manliest thing possible while getting hit by a pitch this weekend. ASU outfielder Johnny Sewald couldn’t get out of the way of a pitch heading directly toward his torso. So instead of taking the hit, he simply caught the ball and threw it back to the pitcher.
