Specifically, consuming nuts and olive oil in addition to whole grains, fish, vegetables, and fruit could help with aging-related memory and thinking.
The team tracked a large group of participants who averaged 67 years in age and were mentally healthy.
They were randomly assigned one of three diets: a Mediterranean diet with additional extra virgin olive oil; a Mediterranean diet with about 30 grams of mixed walnuts, hazelnuts, and almonds a day; with the t
