The petitioners failed to prevent the fare hike in the Light Rail Transit (LRT) and Metro Rail Transit (MRT) and to get a temporary restraining order from the Supreme Court. The government studies the suggestion of Maynilad to little by little increase the water rate which will probably take effect on March.
