Ate Gemma is a domestic helper in Hong Kong who was diagnosed with breast cancer. Although she was undergoing treatment, she still had to keep on working to provide for her family and to get the medical benefits that the Hong Kong goverment provides. Now she is part of a support group which helps other Filipinos going through cancer. Piolo was so touched by her story that he agreed to fly to Hong Kong to surprise her, carrying a message from her family in Bicol.
