Ranveer Singh’s Rupa Frontline ad caught everyone’s fancy the moment it came on air. Not to mention, the girls couldn’t stop drooling over a Baniyaan-clad Ranveer.
But the ad features a scene where Mr. Singh beats up a shark to save a girl. And that hasn’t gone down too well with a lot of animal lovers and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
Poorva Joshipura, CEO of PETA India, has dished out the following official statement after watching the ad. In response to that, Mukesh Agarwal, Whole-time Director at Rupa & Co. Ltd. for the Brand said they will be adding a disclaimer to the ad to this effect.
