Two Gold Coast teenagers suffered minor injuries in a drive-by shooting on Wednesday evening.

The incident occurred at a residence on Heeb St, Benowa, just after 7 p.m. while three teenagers were in a garage adjoining the house.

Evidence suggest a vehicle stopped outside house and occupants fired three shots from a small-calibre rifle through the garage door before fleeing. Police are seeking information on a white car seen in the area.

One 17 and one 19-year-old received shrapnel wounds to the back and were taken by ambulance to Gold Coast Hospital for treatment.
