A chase and a shootout occurred between two alleged carjackers and police in Chihuahua, Mexico on August 1. Two men allegedly carjacked a late model Range Rover from a woman at gunpoint.
According to local media, the shootout began in Zaragoza Boulevard, when the suspects shot repeatedly at the police from their car. They then decided to abandon the vehicle at a junction and continued shooting while they were chased by police. Both of them were eventually arrested. There were no reports of injuries or deaths.
