A drunk Chinese man woke up nursing a hangover inside a shipping container bound for Los Angeles in an episode that puts even The Hangover's wolfpack to shame. After a no doubt epic night out in the port city of Qingdao, in northeastern Shandong province, Jiang Wu somehow mistook a shipping container for his room at a local Bed and Breakfast. He woke up the following day to find himself trapped inside the now sealed container.

"The container was sealed and he couldn't get out so he called everyone he knew for help and called us too," a police spokesman said, according to United Press International.

Trying frantically to find a way out of the predicament, Jiang faced one major hurdle. He had no idea in which of the myriad of identical containers he was trapped inside.

"The container was sealed and he couldn't get out so he called everyone he knew for help and called us too," a police spokesman said, according to United Press International.

After hearing Jiang banging against the container, Police were able to track him down in a can stacked some 60 feet above ground. Fortune turned out to be on Jiang's side as the container he was stuck inside was just an hour away from being placed on a cargo ship embarking on a two week journey to Los Angeles.

"He's very lucky. If he'd been asleep for another hour the next stop would have been America," said one dock worker, according to Britain's The Daily Star.
