A black South Carolina man took to Facebook to express his anger over how a North Charleston restaurant, Wild Wing Cafe, decided not to seat his party of 25 people because a white customer felt "threatened" by their presence.

Michael Brown, also known was Mike London, wrote down the details of what happened on his Facebook page, a post that subsequently shared by many, eventually making it to news outlets. Brown wrote, "The manager looked me dead in the face and said she was refusing us service because she had a right to and simply she felt like it."

When someone in Brown's group began to video record the conversation, this upset the manager, who decided to refuse the group outright. Brown wrote that at this point, he asked, "'So, you're telling me I have to leave?' She said, 'I have a right to deny you service.' I said, 'So you're asking me to leave because you're upset because he was recording you, after we've waited for two hours, and after you've already pretty much discriminated on us?' And she answered, 'Yes.' "

Wild Wing Cafe has since apologized to the group and offered them free meals, even planning to meet with members of the group in order to sort the matter out. However, Brown says that isn't good enough.
