The National Security Agency reportedly monitored the porn habits of terrorist sympathizers in a bid to harm their reputations according to the latest bombshell leak from former NSA contractor Edward Snowden.

In the War on Terror the NSA is known to stop at nothing to thwart the activities of suspected Islamists, but these latest Snowden disclosures reported by the Huffington Post, show
just how far the intelligence agency is willing to go.

The document identified six targets, all of whom were Muslim. None of the targets are accused of being active in terror plots, but are described as "exemplars" of how "personal vulnerabilities" can be discovered through covert electronic surveillance and then exploited in order to undermine their authority, reputation and credibility.

The data, which revealed among other things that the targets viewed "sexually explicit material online," was collected as part of a plan to discredit them and display their hypocrisy.

"If people are engaged in trying to recruit folks to kill Americans and we can discredit them, we ought to," said Stewart Baker a former NSA general counsel. "On the whole, it's fairer and maybe more humane" than bombing a target, Baker continued, describing the method as "dropping the truth on them."

We wonder though, how would these guys have been able to justify their behavior to their followers?

Do YOU think the NSA is using this information to keep us safe or just to make fun of terrorists?
