The Mie Board of Education took disciplinary action this past Thursday against a 45-year-old teacher from Shiroko Middle School in Suzuka. The teacher is accused of copying porn DVDs in the computer classroom during working hours in October.

Pupils discovered the porn DVDs running on the laptop while the teacher was away from the classroom. The teacher's behaviour did not come to light until the pupils informed on him. He denied all the charges to the principal, claiming that he was doing nothing but deleting spam. The teacher reportedly got himself into hot water for the same offence at his previous school, where he had been given a strong warning.
