Two months later, five witnesses testimony on the disaster they in-live experienced, near-death for some.
How to describe the earthquake when it lasted only a few endless seconds? How to cope a major earthquake when someone is legged? How to apply known safety instructions when there strength to move is away? Out of the rubble how to take light to reach the survivors screaming into the night? How antisismic building or earthquake-reinforced building protects its inmates? What a legacy to leave to the child when the new house is weakened ?
At 3:32 a.m., Monday 6 April 2009, in the developed country Italy, L'Aquila region was hit by a powerful earthquake : magnitude 6.3, depth around 10 km, more than 300 deaths and more than 1700 wounded. Such an event can occur at any time in a populated area in the Caribbean countries, as was the case along the last centuries, or elsewhere in the world where same kind of earthquake previously occurred.
