A father-son duo were allegedly assaulted and hacked to death by a group of seven residents of their village Trajpar in Morbi district in the wee hours of Tuesday over an old dispute.
The incident took place at around 5 am when victims Govind Ganeshiya and his sons Chandu, Gopal and Nitin were about to retire to bed after returning from a bhajan event. Police said seven men barged into Ganeshiya’s residence and attacked them with swords, knives, scythes, iron pipes and wooden clubs.
