Comedian and actor Tracy Morgan was 'more responsive' on Sunday, but remains in critical condition a day after a deadly six vehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike that killed fellow comic and friend James 'Jimmy Mack' McNair. Four others were injured including Morgan.

Police believe the crash occurred in Cranbury when truck driver Kevin Roper started to doze off at the wheel, failing to see the traffic slowing down in front of him.

At the last minute, Roper swerved to try to avoid Morgan's Mercedes limo bus, but struck it from behind, causing the limo to spin and overturn.

This set off a chain-reaction crash involving another tractor-trailer, an SUV and two cars. All those killed and injured were in the limousine. Morgan suffered broken leg bones, a broken nose and several broken ribs in the accident.
