An airline passenger was arrested in Michigan after a knife was discovered hidden in his shoe on Sunday (July 6).
According to CBS Detroit, the Transportation Security Administration officers made the discovery as a man passed through a security checkpoint at Detroit Metropolitan Airport in Romulus shortly before 7:30 a.m. A knife was found concealed inside the bottom lining of the passenger's shoe. The weapon was confiscated and the passenger was taken into custody.
The man's name has not been released, CBS Detroit reported. The TSA urges travellers to put knives and most other sharp objects in their checked baggage.
