A video uploaded to Facebook went viral earlier this month showing a man beating up on Aaron Hill, a 16-year-old boy with autism from Okeechobee, Florida. The aggressor has been arrested and identified as 18-year-old Andrew Wheeler.

A police report of the incident describes the events surrounding the video. Hill’s friend invited him to a party at Evadean Lydecker’s home. Lydecker, charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, provided alcohol purchased at a local convenience store to her daughter and other party goers, including Hill.

Hill told police he drank two cups of Lord Calvert whiskey and lay down until he felt better. He woke up when he was told he needed to go outside and see someone who wanted to fight him. Hill went back inside to lie down on the kitchen floor and refused to leave the house to fight.

Wheeler says someone called him about a drunk guy in her house that wouldn’t leave. When Wheeler arrived at the party, he was told Hill had punched two girls. Wheeler told police that Hill tried to take a swing at him too. The incriminating video was recorded on Hill’s own cell phone and uploaded to Facebook sparking an internet-wide manhunt for the suspect called #JusticeForAaron

Once outside, Wheeler continued punching him in the face while others stood around and watched. Hill also told police that Wheeler held a knife to his neck as he told him to leave.

Officer Ryan Holroyd found Hill on the road around 12:30 a.m. while responding to a call from Amber Quates, who initially saw Hill passed out in the middle of SW 6th Street, two blocks away from the party.

Wheeler is being held in the Okeechobee County jail on $20,000 bond which his family has not posted out of concerns for Wheeler’s safety should be be released.
