Archie Brown Jr., a 41-year-old father of four, was driving a white van with his neighbor as a passenger near Milwaukee's Wahl Park, Sunday evening when 2-year-old Damani Terry who was playing at a nearby home suddenly darted onto the road. Brown could not stop in time and the toddler was struck and killed.

Following the law, Brown stayed at the scene to render aid. Damani's brother, 15-year-old Rasheed Terry, bolted out of the home and was helping to try and resuscitate the toddler. Suddenly, someone perhaps with a twisted sense of vigilante justice, walked over and fatally shot Brown in the head, along with Terry who died later at hospital.

Police still have no definitive leads in the case.
