The Board of Inquiry have already submitted their report about the Mamasapano incident to the Philippine National Police (PNP) authorities. According to the report, suspended PNP Chief Alan Purisima should have not interfered in the operations.

The report also detailed the happenings in Malacañang last January 9, the day where Pres. Aquino was briefed about the operations.
