A 59-year old woman in the U.K. and her husband are suing the courts to give them access to their dead daughter’s frozen eggs so the mother can eventually carry and give birth to her own grandchild.
A British couple is suing to have their dead daughter’s frozen eggs released from storage so the 59-year old mother can eventually carry and give birth to her own grandchild via a sperm donor.
According to them, this was their daughter’s last wish before she died of bowel cancer in her late 20s in 2011.
To follow through on their plan, they found a clinic in New York that was willing to handle the procedure for as much as $92,000.
However, the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority denied their request last year to trans
