FAO/European Union (EU): Enhancing the food security and sustainable livelihoods of poor rural families in the West Bank through improving rain water harvesting and water demand management

This video is a short documentary film produced by Wattan TV elaborating the EU-funded and FAO implemented project "Supporting the food security and sustainable livelihoods of poor rural families through improving rain water harvesting and water demand management for agricultural purposes". Implemented from 1 November 2011 to 28 February 2013, the project sustainably improved the availability and management of water for agricultural purposes in rural areas of the West Bank through the construction and rehabilitation of 500 rain water collecting cisterns; and created jobs and enhanced income generation for poor families and rural workers.
