Real Madrid reserve goalkeeper Keylor Navas shows Cristiano Ronaldo a thing or two about his ball skills
He may not be Real Madrid’s first-choice goalkeeper, but Keylor Navas still possesses some seriously good skills – after being seen showing Cristiano Ronaldo a thing or two about his ball-juggling abilities.
The Los Blancos shot-stopper did his best to outshine the Ballon d’Or winner in training this week after he not only matched Ronaldo with his keepy-uppy skills but also impressed with some fancy footwork.
The battle of the skills all started while Navas warmed up alongside Ronaldo and Javier Hernandez and the Real winger had performed some basic keepy-uppy moves.
After doing the same, the goalkeeper was then faced with Ronaldo pulling out some more complicated moves, which seemingly motivated Navas to show his teammate just how good his ball-handling skills are too.
The Costa Rica international coolly displayed some slick skills before Ronaldo took the ball back and tried to outdo the shot-stopper.
While it’s hard to decide just who wins the battle of the skills in this instance, Navas did reign victorious during a one-on-one moment with Martin Odegaard in training this week – which reinforces our view that the keeper is pretty talented.
