This is part three of a three step video series of the SwimWays Swim Steps process.
As your child becomes more confident in the water it’s important that they feel supported and empowered to succeed. Water Safety Expert, Mario Vittone, talks us through Swim Step 3, Swim Training. Learn how your child can use flotation devices such as noodles and kickboards to build strength and coordination.
Swim Step 3 is the final step before real swimming! This is a great time to use graduated flotation devices (like the SwimWays Power Swimr) with foam inserts that you can remove, like training wheels, as your child’s skill develops. Regardless of how confident and independent your child is in the water at this stage it’s more important than ever to remind your child to never swim unsupervised.
