A report of human remains found in Cienega Springs, Arizona, turned out to be fake skeletons having a tea party underwater. The La Paz County Sheriff’s office posted this video from a member of the dive team who investigated the report of human remains on May 4.
A snorkeler had reported seeing human remains at the bottom of the Colorado River to authorities. A Buckskin Fire Department diver found the fake skeletons sitting in lawn chairs at the bottom of the river.
“Although the call itself was resource intensive, both the sheriff’s office and Buckskin Fire were happy to find that the remains weren’t real and thanked the reporting party for making the call,” the sheriff’s office press release stated. Credit: YouTube/ La Paz County Sheriff
