Gabriel Gladstar "A Garden Song" 1973/81 Private California Acid Folk Psych.

Original 1973 LP release of one of the most uplifting psych LPs of its time, Gabriel Gladstar`s. A Garden Song, issued by Flying Guitar on a lime green label. Back cover is signed in ball point pen by all original members – Philip (Phil), Michael (Mike), and Jim.

Gabriel Gladstar is a folk/rock trio formed in Laguna Beach, Ca in 1969. Mike Gwinn, guitar and vocals, Phil Morgan, guitar and vocals and Jim Zeiger, sax, flute and vocals. The music is reminiscent of Pentangle, Incredible String Band, CSN and Greatful Dead-but totally original. Gladstar toured the west coast in a converted school bus appearing in concerts with Weather Report, Paul Winter Consort, Sons of Champlin, Lily Tomlin and others. Courted by Atlantic Records and Ahmet Ertegun, the band struck out on it's own breaking new ground with their highly successful album, A Garden Song. Don't miss this rare opportunity to hear Gabriel Gladstar at Delicious Orchards, Revolution Brewery pub crawl and Paradise Theatre during Mountain Harvest Festival..
