According to a study conducted by the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), every Metro Rail Transit (MRT) breakdown becomes one of the contributing factors which causes the heavy traffic in EDSA. The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC), promises that the MRT passengers will experience relief before this year ends.
