Isang linggo matapos ibaba ang suggested retail price (SRP) ng manok ay inaasahan ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) na lalo pang bababa ang presyo nito dahil naman sa oversupply. Sa mga palengke, napatunayan na sa halip na masunod ang SRP ay lalo pang tumaas ang presyo ng manok.
