Thousands of workers commemorated Mayday in a march to demand respect for their rights that are under attack. They denounced policies that are closing public companies in order to sell them to private corporations that employ few workers and ban unions. Since 2014, more workers than ever have been fired, they say, and the power of unions in public companies is also being reduced.
