Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D for the Nintendo 3DS developed by Grezzo and Nintendo and published by Nintendo. The Nintendo 64 had a set of twins—the Zelda twins. They looked a lot a like, but one was the popular twin everyone loved. The other was the scary twin who walked around wearing masks. Majora’s Mask was widely misunderstood upon its 2000 release, a dark and complex sequel to one of Nintendo’s biggest games ever. But finally, 15 years later, it’s getting the love it always deserved. Majora’s Mask 3D remakes the nightmarish world of Termina in stereoscopic 3D, bringing it to life with more color and detail than ever before. The game also streamlines the game’s notorious complexity in some areas, but only to clear up the confusion—this is still a weird, complicated game about people, masks and the apocalypse. Perhaps the coolest Zelda ever, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D is a single-player game on the Nintendo 3DS. This video review features video gameplay footage of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
