Shane Ray's NFL career could be derailed by a pot DUI bust. Ray was considered a first-round draft pick for the NFL, but when that pick comes on April 30, Ray may not hear his name being called after a bust for possession of marijuana.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says on the morning of April 27, Shane was spotted by a state trooper speeding in Cooper County. After being pulled over, the trooper smelled weed in the car and after a search, roughly 35 grams was turned up — a misdemeanor in Missouri.

Most of us would probably agree that marijuana is not a performance-enhancing drug, but the NFL does not have a lenient pot policy and this former defensive/outside linebacker for Missouri may have just seen his future go up in smoke.
