New unemployment figures have been released here in France, and they are not good news. The number of people seeking work has risen to a record high, with over 3.5 million now jobless. Also, as May Day approaches, unions are preparing for their annual rallies and so is the far-right National Front. But for the first time, its controversial founder Jean Marie Le Pen might not address his troops. His daughter Marine has vetoed his presence on stage, worsening their ongoing family feud.
