A powerful earthquake has hit Nepal.
The shallow 7.9 magnitude quake was centred about 100 kilometres west of the capital.
It is thought many people have been injured, with two deaths reported so far.
Some buildings have reportedly collapsed.
The quake was felt as far away as New Delhi and other cities in northern India.
