Since the Saudi Arabia-led coalition began its air campaign against Yemen on March 15, more than 2,000 airstrikes have been launched, with 2,500 dead and 4,000 injured. Many observers in the Arab world feel the military campaign will not be successful and will backfire on all countries involved in the airstrikes. Meanwhile, Yemen is engulfed in an increasingly critical humanitarian crisis, with power outages affecting many residents as well as hospital and other infrastructure.
