Pù Luông Nature Reserve is a nature reserve in northern Vietnam. This nature reserve is situated in Quan Hóa and Bá Thước districts of Thanh Hóa Province, North Central Coast region of Vietnam. Pu Luong Nature Reserve is bordered by Mai Châu, Tân Lạc and Lạc Sơn districts of Hòa Bình Province. The reserve is located along two parallel mountain ridges, that run from north-west to south-east, and are divided by a central valley, which contains several human settlements and a large agricultural land area, therefore, is not included within the nature reserve. Pù Luông is endowed with great biodiversity, its flora and fauna is closely associated with the Cúc Phương National Park 25 km south-east.
Visitors will visit the citadel gate’s architecture built in vaulted shape, the original walls built with large stones and the trace of gazebo and Royal Road at the South Gate of the Ho Citadel. From here, walking about 200 meters, visitors can reach the artifacts exhibition room on the artifacts of the Ho Citadel and Nam Giao Altar through the collections and excavations

The Ho Citadel – Nam Giao Altar – Giang pagoda – Tran Khat Chan temple
Time: 2-3 hours
Route: Visitors will visit the citadel gate’s architecture built in vaulted shape, the original walls built with large stones and the trace of gazebo and Royal Road at the South Gate of the Ho Citadel. From here, walking about 200 meters, visitors can reach the artifacts exhibition room on the artifacts of the Ho Citadel and Nam Giao Altar through the collections and excavations. Continueing, on the route to the Southeast, visitors will be introduced about the architecture and history of Tam Tong temple; the customs and local products; people in Vinh Loc land ... After one quarter hour, visitors will reach at the Nam Giao Altar – Tay Do that was named as the oldest altar, where you can visit and be introducted about the history and architecture of the altar: The altar floor and wall, King’s Well, .... Located in the complex of Don Son mountain, tourists will be continued visiting the Giang pagoda (Tuong Van Tu) – where is one of the largest Buddhist centers of our country in the late 14th – early 15th centuries. Walking along the eastern slope of more than 100ms, tourists will visit Tran Khat Chan temple – a famous general under Tran dynasty.
