An iPad once owned by Pope Francis pulled in 30 thousand 5 hundred dollars at auction.

An iPad once owned by Pope Francis recently sold for $30,500 at auction. 

 The tablet was put up for sale by a high school for the poor in Uruguay, and the proceeds will benefit its mission.

The school had received it as a gift from a priest, who had in turn been given the iPad directly by the Pope.

The priest recalled that when handing it to him the Pontiff said, “May you do something good with it.”
