Experts assisting the Bolivian government in its legal claim for access to the sea, including Nobel Peace Prize winner Rigoberto Menchu, are preparing the suit. Bolivia is suing Chile for access to a Pacific Coast outlet and the lawsuit, filed two years ago, is designed to force Santiago to negotiate a definitive solution to the dispute between the two countries.
