A man was arrested at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on Thursday after attacking another man who was waiting to board his flight.

A bystander recorded the incident, which started when the man made fun of a gentleman wearing a pink shirt.

The attacker -- whom witnesses said seemed under the influence -- became angry when the man in the pink shirt started recording him with his cellphone.

He argued with other bystanders and yelled obscene assumptions about the gentleman’s sexual preferences, before kicking him in the stomach and slapping him in the head.

Security officers and several other bystanders tackled the attacker.

While officers handcuffed him, he said he attacked the man because “this is America... the same reason you get to live and breathe and walk black. You know what I’m talking about.”

He was arrested and led away.

Police have not identified the attacker or the man in the pink shirt.
