Recently in southern Taiwan, a 30 year old man took his frustrations out on his pet cat by force feeding it two metal screws.

Three months ago the young man had adopted a kitten from a friend. Initially he showered his new pet with attention.

However, a few days ago while attempting to fix a computer, he became angry and force fed two tiny screws to the cat for some reason.

Regretting his actions he took the cat to the veterinarian a few days later.

After x-raying the cat the vet saw the two screws stuck in the cat’s digestive and respiratory tract.

Unfortunately, despite the vet’s best efforts the cat died.

The young man has been fined a paltry $650 US dollars, which hardly seems like justice for the kitten.
